Here's a test to determine if you have "The Cancer Personality" from the Budwig Center. Here are the traits. How do you rank?
Loss / Grief - This could be a great shock when one loses a spouse, child, friend...Loss of status, financial or otherwise could be just as devastating as a loss of a relationship.
Unfulfilled Passion - The common thread was unfulfilled passion that had been suppressed for many years...Oddly enough...fulfilling a previously unfulfilled passion has an amazing curative effect.
Unworthiness - The personality predisposed to cancer is usually what I would call 'nice', a 'kind soul', or 'other-centered' someone who would put the needs of others before their own.
Avoidance of Conflict - These people avoid conflict and are unable to express hostility in their own defense. These people prefer order...They are very tidy people...
Of course this is a compensation mechanism for their feelings of unworthiness and self-dislike... They are achievers with a tendency to overdo and overwork... Many of these individuals come from a parental relationship where...they must achieve ie: please the parent; thus they become the best in their class...
Most Carcinogenic personality profiles are very punctual.
The greatest fears of a carcinogenic personality are: the fear of getting cancer, crawling creatures, most commonly spiders, ... and not being liked. Regarding the fear of cancer, I believe that subconsciously, the patient always knows what is going to get them in the end...
Depression - ...it brings their feeling of unworthiness forth such that they see nothing positive about themselves or their lives...
Self Expression and Creativity - Self-expression is a key for these individuals and it is this very struggle for individualization and creativity that often leads to the discovery of their artistic talents...(emphasis is mine)
Not surprisingly, The Budwig Center is happy to fix your personality. In fact, you can go to Germany and sit in their special magnetic chair to have your emotions re-mapped.
Let me step back here and tell you that I have partaken in my fair share of woo-woo healing sessions and they'd probably sound as far out there as the magnetic chair. In fact, I have found them beneficial and still partake.
Here's the difference... I am not trying to take what works for me and sell it to you.
So, if you have lost something in your life (relationship or status or money);
if you have an unfulfilled passion;
if you are tidy;
if you are punctual;
if your relationship with your parents is complicated;
if you are a cancer patient who is afraid of cancer;
if you dislike spiders;
if you struggle to find a creative outlet;
if your depression is defined by feelings of unworthiness (are their other kinds??)
But I notice in there that the good news is that you can cure your own cancer by filling that previously unfulfilled passion.
And here's the bottom line.
IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT.
Got it? Good.
And you won't believe how pervasive this is.
